Illiberal Virtuosity

Crushing leftist maladroits since birth.

An open letter to Obama Voters.

I pray that you will allow me at least the opportunity to change your mind.

The news media in this country, virtually every newspaper, TV network and so on is made up of liberal Democrats that the truth is rarely told.  All I want is the opportunity to get our point of view out and understood by you rather than the meat grinder of some place like CNN or MS NBC.  If you get all of your news from one of these or some similar source, it probably makes you wonder how anyone could EVER vote Republican.  Well, that IS their goal and plan but it should make you wonder how so many people still do.  It’s because they caught on to how corrupt the news media is and now they see through the BS.

I have heard the comment that “Sarah Palin scares me!”  I can’t for the life of me understand how John McCain or Sarah Palin could possibly scare anyone.  They are honest to God real Americans who love their country and the principles it was founded on.  There are so many myths about them, their backgrounds, and their beliefs, it’s not funny.  Few people ever take a moment to find out if what they hear is actually true.  You would have to tell me what ridiculous accusation you have heard first but I assure you I can defend it with nothing but the truth.  I can however tell you that Sarah Palin does not want to take away anyone’s abortion rights, or stop teaching evolution in school and that John McCain is not, in fact, a blood relative of George W. Bush.

It’s sad to say but few “scary” things the media does ever say about Obama are only the top of the iceberg and are not merely “smears” as is often claimed.  The previous post on this blog “The comprehensive argument against Barack Obama” lays out the facts on many of these issues.   I hope you at least take the time to check out it out thoroughly before dismissing it so lightly.  I am not in the habit of spreading lies or playing games.  I love my country and I am fighting for it every day.

I know many people who get their political identity from their family without it ever occurring to them that things may have changed in the last 40-50 years.  The Democrat party that existed in the 60’s is gone. The Democrat party of 2008 has mostly been co-opted by true leftists who are working very hard (and unfortunately successfully) to create a nanny state and absolute socialism.

It upsets me that I run into people everyday who think that they must remain Democrat for the exact reason that they should become Republicans.

It is the Republican Party that stands for civil liberties.  It IS the party that was founded on the principal of anti-slavery and more importantly, the fundamental concepts that America was founded on, individual liberty, equal opportunity, personal responsibility, the American Dream.

The Democrat Party has become the party of big government that keeps creating more and more social programs and spending more and more of our tax dollars to setup wealth redistribution programs. The aim of which is to keep people in need dependent on the government and more importantly, for those in the Democrat party to remain in power.  The sad truth is that they have no real desire to “help” anyone but themselves.  They use these dependents to maintain their power by threatening them with the interruption of their benefits if a Republican happened to take office.  Some of these many benefits that are manipulated in their massive class warfare game include welfare, housing assistance, food stamps, and government contracts. Even government jobs are created to maintain a dependent populace.

Obama, himself, is just another in a long line of ultra liberal tax and spenders whose goal is to continue this growth of government by creating even more social programs, even more taxation, more spending and ultimately more dependents that will keep him and his friends like Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid in power and take our country even further from its roots.

What is worse is that I think that Obama has the potential to be much, much worse.  His history is that of someone who actually believes in socialism and Marxist principles.  He has toned down this rhetoric tremendously to make himself more appealing to the masses but I fear the true Obama will return if he is elected.  I will also make a side note that the majority of his campaign promises, notably his 95% tax cut proposal, are lies, distortions and half-truths and that this is easily demonstrated by checking with non-partisan organizations that you can Google in two seconds.  Pick an item and I will be happy to explain the ramifications.

I am of the belief that the country may not survive even one Obama term.  We will be attacked as weak by every terrorist organization out there.  Our system of economics will cross the brink from sort of socialistic progressive to actual out and out socialism.

Simply put, the Republican Party believes that all people should be given the equal opportunity prescribed in our Declaration of Independence.  They believe in law and order, that people should be responsible for themselves.  They should be rewarded for their successes and innovation and they should be equally held to account for their misbehavior.  The Republican Party is for smaller government, less bureaucracy and more freedom and liberty for the people.

Contrarily, the Democrat Party believes in larger government where it is the responsibility of that government to take care of its people.   They believe in taxing success and innovation and using the proceeds to create dependents.   The government chooses what behavior is acceptable and unacceptable and legislates accordingly.  Notwithstanding the previous statements, it is also clear that the Democrat Party believes in whatever cause they can use to vilify the Republican Party, IE. They may be for or against tax cuts or war depending on what their Republican opponent is saying.

There are many, many individual issues that come up in every Presidential election.  The War on Terror, Abortion, 2nd amendment rights, gay marriage, property rights, taxes and so on.  Some of you may be one issue voters.  If so, at least do this for me.  Make sure you really know where each candidate stand on that issue, not where you “think” they stand or what you “heard on CBS news” but what they really believe and what their plans are.  Secondly, before making a decision based on your “one issue”, think hard about whether some of the other issues should be sacrificed over your one issue.

Please, before you vote for Barack Obama, at least know what you are asking for.

Call me crazy but I want my kids to grow up in an America I can recognize.

I will be voting McCain-Palin.

The Truth on the Bailout might come out after all..

Up until last night, the mainstream media and even more surprisingly, the McCain campaign have seemed unwilling to tell this story.  Clearly, I’m not.

Remarkably, Fox News ran a special on the causes of the economic crisis last night.   It’s an absolute must watch.

Part 1

Part 2

Part 3

Part 4

Part 5

Part 6

Even Alec Baldwin, of all the psycho leftists in the world, sees the truth! If you have followed his antics as a Boosh hater, this is shocking as hell.  I give him credit on this one.

After that, go over to Michelle Malkin’s site and check out the fresh, new Bailout T-shirts!

Sarah positively KILLED at the debate last night…

CNN has it 51/36 Biden and CBS has 46/21 Biden.   They must have been polling in the Biden spin room!

Here is a short video of pollster Frank Luntz and his results.

Below is the full debate, unedited on youtube.

Michelle Malkin liveblogged the debate… It’s a great read!

Also, here’s a link to Biden’s gaffes, errors and untruths from the debate.   I caught a few of these myself but the list is shocking!

The Economic Crisis? Who, How, What, Where & When?

Below is a great video I found on youtube which lays out the facts behind our current economic crisis.  Surely you can take a few minutes to watch.  Pass this one around please.

Question: Who is Obama?  Is he the guy we see in the debates and on the campaign tour spouting hope and change we can believe in (gag) or something much much darker? You be the judge.

Now, we know that fair and accurate reporting, not to mention anything resembling ethics is dead in the newsmedia.  But how dead?  Dead enough that there is an active widespread conspiracy to elect one Presidential candidate over the other?  How does 98% of the newsmedia  miss all of this stuff?

As I post this, Obama is giving a campaign speech where he blames deregulation by the Bush administration for the economic crisis, completely ignoring the facts and the TRUTH.  I implore everyone out there to take the people in your life aside and show them these facts and the TRUTH.  Some guy more talented than I was irked enough to make that video, now your job is just to watch and share it.  Please take the time to do so.  Our great country is being taken from us by the forces of Socialism and more to the point, the force of EVIL.   It is going to take a grassroots effort to wake the sleeping boobs who decide elections in America, the great unwashed swing voters.   Find them and tell them

All you need to do is stand back and listen to the Democrats and Obama speak.  The way they operate is clear.  They create more and more social programs intended to keep the population dependent on them and the government.  They do this to grow government and maintain their power.  They then attack their political opponents by using fear, class warfare and lies.   “Don’t you dare vote for that evil Republican, he will take away your benefits, whatever they may be”.  The end result is that those people will never advance, they will remain dependent and ultimately the tool of the left to continue the process.  Conservatives want to provide equal opportunity for everyone.  They have faith in the people to achieve.  After all, that’s how America got to be so great.   Think of all the great inventions and technological breakthroughs and the incredible increase in quality of life that we have all experienced because of the original American culture where risk was rewarded, pioneers were revered, and the free market made the best ideas constantly challenged to become that much better.

Help break the chain.

Speaking truth to morons.

It’s a common battlechant of the leftists in this country to “speak truth to power”.  The problem with most of these people is they don’t have the brainpower to distinguish what really is true from what comes from their mouths.

The goal for this blog post is to gather some of the recent media issues in the current Presidential campaign and point out the truth.  Let’s see how I do.

1)  Which policies led to the housing and credit crisis?  Want a hint?  It wasn’t that evil BOOSH…  Here is a linkie for you..
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/16/whose-policies-led-to-the-credit-crisis/trackback/

2) Are the fundamentals of the American economy strong?  By now, I’m sure you have heard Obama slamming McCain for saying that the backbone of the American economy is in tact and we will get through this current credit crisis.  According to Obama, the sky is falling, McCain is a liar, and only he can save us.  Well, what’s the truth, is the economy screwed or not?   Here is a great article from Larry Elder over at townhall.  The great thing about Larry is he backs up his arguments with FACTS.  Now, that’s something you don’t see every day.
http://townhall.com/Columnists/LarryElder/2008/05/08/recession,_recession,_wheres_the_recession

3) Earmarks you say…
    Sarah Palin’s record on earmarks:

    Barack Obama’s record on earmarks:

Oh, and how is this for sketchy?
http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2008/sep/11/obama-museum-earmarks-draw-fire/

4) You want the truth on Obama’s sex ed bill?  Are you sure?  The media has already slapped the McCain campaign as if they were lying about it..  Oh, that’s right we are supposed to be speaking truth to morons here..

http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/16/byron-york-mccains-sex-ed-attack-ad-is-accurate/trackback/

5) Speaking of things the McCain campaign is villified for because they are “over the top”.  How about whether or not Obama is actually to the left of NARAL on abortion?  You be the judge.
http://www.bornalivetruth.org/fact-check.aspx
http://hotair.com/archives/2008/08/21/obama-baipa-unnecessarily-burdens-doctors-with-babies/trackback/

6) Did Sarah Palin really stop that “Bridge to Nowhere”?  Yes, she did.  The twisting the left is doing on this is insane.
http://online.wsj.com/article/SB122100927525717663.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

7) I think I will finish up with the dirt the left has been throwing at Sarah Palin.  First, did she say the Iraq War was “God’s will”? No.  Did she try and outlaw teaching evolution in school or push creation science as Governor? No.  Did she want to ban books in Alaska’s public library and fire a librarian for not cooperating? No.  Was she a member of Alaska’s Indepedent party which at one time advocated separating from the Union? Um, No.  Is Trig really her daughter’s child? No.  The list goes on and on.  Check these sites for the truth.

This is just a taste.  The moral is to investigate before believeing what you read or see on TV.  The truth CAN be found, it’s just that sometimes you have to go look for it on your own.

Just the business.

I’ve been very busy lately but I feel compelled to fill all my faithful readers in on the latest news.

Fred! is out so now the only viable alternative is Romney so vote for him when you get the chance.  If you are reading this and are a McCain supporter, you are presumably lost.  Hit the road.  This man is responsible for McCain-Feingold (suppression of free speech disguised as campaign finance reform), McCain-Kennedy(aka “Shamnesty” disguised as “comprehensive” immigration reform),  and he voted against the Bush Tax Cuts.  NO, I will not vote for him in the general.  If the country is going to go down the toilet, let the Democrats put their nametag on it I say.

After watching the State of the Union, I was reminded just how much I once liked George W. Bush.  The guy has his issues; there is no question, “Shamnesty” for one, and spending for another.   However, he seems to have gotten the message on the latter and as much as “comprehensive” immigration reform makes my forehead vein bulge, I would still probably take him over all of the current Republican nominees.  The guy has gotten the worst possible rap from the newsmedia for the last seven years.  It’s been so effective that even some of the stoutest “W” fans have abandoned him.  The question is “why?”  If you are one of these people, do me a favor and think hard on it.

On another equally important front, I have a newsflash for you.  The Giants are horrible!  I find it shocking that Superbowl Sunday is nearly upon us and they are in it.  I don’t like the Giants, I never liked the Giants but you know what I like less than the Giants?  You guessed it, Tom Brady & Bill Belichick.  I never really could pin down why but here is a start.  Then there is THIS which makes me like the Giants just a wee-bit more than I used to.

Bryan, over at Hot Air reminds us which party is for Tax Relief.

I was going to comment on Hillary, Obama, Ted Kennedy’s endorsement, Sheryl Crow showing not just her leftist bent but also her extreme ignorance and much much more but the mere thought of wasting the next few minutes being reminded of such crap has now made my head hurt.  You will have to wait.

For the love of America, root for Romney in FL.

Dinesh knocks one out of the park!

In today’s blog, the much-maligned Dinesh D’Souza addressed the issue of the Larry Craig gay sex scandal.  Within his blog, the sagacious Dinesh opined,

“Today the charge of hypocrisy is rarely launched by people who are calling the hypocrites to live by higher standards. Rather, hypocrisy is the weapon used by people whose goal is to get rid of the standards in the first place.”

This I believe is the crux of the matter.  Liberals cannot claim to hate Craig for his actions, for isn’t everyone a cloistered homosexual just waiting to burst from the closet?  Nor can they claim the high road; after all, Clinton apologists on the left side of the aisle are the rule, not the exception.

So why all the hoopla?  Simply put, the Craig scandal is the latest proof that conservatism is a lie.  By this reasoning, all conservatives are flaming fags waiting to blow (no pun intended) at a moment’s notice.  Fundamentalists Christians are just projecting their fears.  Need proof?  Look no further than Larry Craig.

Forget for a moment that had the perpetrator been the openly gay Barney Frank, the ACLU would be up in arms.  Gay rights activists would be staging sit-ins, and Al Sharpton probably would have worked the “black” angle in somehow.

But alas, Craig’s crime is not so much his inappropriate behavior, but being a conservative.  As Dinesh points out, it’s not that liberals are short of hypocrites of their own.  Rather, it’s the idea of hypocrisy that provides the motive force here.  For if one fails to live up to the morals one espouses, what does that say about the concept of morals in the first place?

Actually, the Apostle Paul spoke to this very question some 2000 year ago.  In his Epistle to the Romans, he wrote, “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”  Yes, all fall short.  But how many seek to walk the high road?  For walking that high road, not collecting friends on the trek to hell, is the ultimate measure of a man.

08 Presidential Possibilities Part I Summer 2007

Oh, I know its early yet but many prominent decision makers are starting to take sides so I thought it was high time I weighed in on the subject.

First off, the only Democrats that have a chance are Hillary, Obama,  and Edwards. Also, there remains a distinct possibility of even the Goracle himself joining the race.  Those that I didn’t mention have no prayer, and no chance.  Biden & Kucinich are ultra partisan lefties and while their positions play well with the moveon.org ultra-liberal base, they have zero personality and no draw for the umpteen clueless Americans that will eventually vote for a Democrat in the general election.  Dodd only gets a mention because he is my current CT Senator.  Thankfully, I have a strong feeling it will be his last term.  His unfavorables climb higher every year and without Lieberman as an ally, I sense he is destined lose his next campaign.  I can dream, can’t I?

As far as the front-runners go, I think even most Democrats have come to think of John Edwards as the shyster-lawyer that he is.  The “only man talking about poverty in America” is the same guy who lives in a home so large it alters weather patterns and spends more money on his hair in a month than most people do in a decade.   Average Americans might not be able to show you Iraq on a map or tell you the name of the VP but they can absorb the simple concept of  “shyster-lawyer”.

Obama is the dream candidate of the super-lefties.  He has the same positions as Biden & Kucinich and many of the leftwing pundits yet has something they don’t, charisma.  This has propelled Obama’s fundraising ability to near Clintonesque heights, especially with the netroots crowd.  He is a darkhorse candidate but personally I think the Clinton machine will crush him before long.  Not only that, despite the leftwings assumed superiority with regard to tolerance and anti-prejudice, there are some Democrats that will not vote for a black man, regardless of his merits.

Hillary has a similar problem as some voters will just not vote for a woman.   Also, her position changes on the Iraq war will hurt her horribly in the primaries against her anti-war anti-American challengers.  Although, they will likely help her in the general.  My personal opinion of Hillary is that she is completely unlike her husband in that she is a hard worker on the plus side but completely annoying to listen to on the negative side.   As far as their politics go, they are kindred spirits which is to say, they will do whatever is politically expedient and falls in the realm of “things we can get away with.”  Aside from that, she shows up in polls as having the most people who won’t vote for her under any circumstances.  This is not usually a desirable trait in a candidate but her name is Clinton and I see her using her husbands famed likability day in and day out until the better end.

Incidentally, a bitter end is exactly what I see for the Democrats 2008 Presidential hopes.  Obviously, I’m a Republican and a tremendous partisan so its easy to dismiss my outlook as completely biased.   Yet, the way I see it, the Democrats will likely end up with Hillary or Obama as their candidate.  As long as there is a strong Republican candidate, I think our side has the better chance for victory.

The question is “will we have a strong Republican candidate”?  The answer is most assuredly, yes.   Like the Democrats, we have our share of  second string candidates.  Brownback, Gilmore, Huckabee,  Hunter, Tancredo, Thompson and yes, John McCain all fit this mold.  Don’t get me wrong.   I have strong admiration for some of these guys.  It’s just that none of them have a chance.  Huckabee would be my favorite out of the second tier guys.  He’s a solid Republican, I am with him on the issues and if fate gave him a nudge, I would champion his cause.  McCain, on the hand, repeatedly sells out Republicans on the issues and for some reason, he still seems surprised when his support evaporates.  Ron Paul is a nutjob.  Enough said.

Currently, the Republican front-runners include Guiliani, Romney, and Thompson.   Guiliani is an old school politico who’s status as a viable POTUS was reinvigorated by 9-11.  And rightfully so, I love his stance on the War on Terror and I have faith that he would even stick to it.  Where I worry is on immigration reform and gun control.   Simply put, he is your typical center-right candidate that got us the last two Bush’s.  Which is to say, he is not nearly Republican or at least, conservative enough for my tastes.

Romney looks good in a lot of ways.  He definitely performed in the debates.  He’s a handsome man.  That will get you some votes from little old ladies somewhere no doubt.  Most importanlty, he looks and sounds like a Republican virtually all of the time.  This is shocking considering he comes from a very very blue state.  He strikes me as a less well known but more polished Guiliani, another center-right guy who is clearly a skilled a politician.  The problem is that I want a statesman not a politician.

Don’t get me wrong.  I would take either of these guys over any of the Dems.  I just get frustrated when the decision makers in the party start backing the Guiliani’s of the world out of fear.  They toss around the word “electable” and worry about people looking “presidential”.  It’s all a load.  I have enough confidence in the average voter that if they were given the real conservative message, they would choose it in a heartbeat.  It doesn’t need to be finessed or compromised and thats what you get with a Bush or Guiliani type.

Fred Thompson is my dream candidate right now.  I think this is in large part that he represents my hope for a better candidate than the initial offering.  The question is “is he actually the candidate I’ve been waiting for?”  So far he has met every expectation.  I pray it continues.  Here is a guy with a commanding presence who doesn’t come off as an inside the beltway politician willing to wheel and deal.  He is a solid conservative across the board.  Is his backbone strong enough to stay on message?  Time will tell.

I should also mention Newt Gingrich.  So far he is not an announced candidate but I feel he should be everyone’s first choice if that should happen.  I mentioned the word “statesman” earlier.  Newt is who I was referring to.  This is a man who brings all the goods to the table.  He has the experience of being Speaker.  I would argue that he is responsible for a large part of what it means to be a conservative today.  Unlike his opponents, he has read and written significantly more than one history book.  He has a proven track record (ever heard of the contract with America?) and even a plan!  Imagine actually being prepared for the job of POTUS.  He is the only candidate in either party with those bases covered.  Yes, yes I know about the baggage.  Look around people, it makes no difference.  America loves baggage.  Look at Hillary.  Hell, look at Bill.  Look at Paris Hilton for heavens sake.  The newsmedia will create baggage where there is none anyway.  Trust that Newt has a message and he knows how to deliver it.

This week I will be meeting with the draftnewt.org folks and I promise an update once I do.

Bottom line is that I feel good about our hopes for 2008.  We have the stronger candidates and of course, we have always had the right message.

Either way, we need more Americans like this Brit..

Happy Belated Independence Day America!

Independence Day in my eyes is supposed to be a day of remembering our past, honoring our fallen heroes, praying for those who protect us even now, recognizing the cumulative sacrifices of all who have gone before and appreciating the liberty and opportunity we enjoy today.

Lo, but for how far we have fallen.

On tuesday night, I had the opportunity to enjoy the Danbury fireworks with some friends.  I also found the opportunity to enlighten my friend’s teenage daughter and one of her friends.  Despite studying US History in school, both were clueless to who we even declared independence from.   Unfortunately, I think this is not uncommon.   I suggest you keep it simple.

I gave them a five minute history lesson about the Declaration of Independence in addition to the sacrifices made by others past and present so they could enjoy the liberty that they have today.  I reminded them that they could have been born anywhere else in the world into any number of societies and their lives would have been much much different.  This is true even today.  Nowhere on Earth are citizens afforded such liberty, such freedoms, such wealth nor such opportunity to achieve.  Imagine being born to work on a rice paddy somewhere in China for your entire life with no education and dying from disease and a broken back at a very early age.  Because of the fireworks, I was also able to tell them about Fort McHenry and Francis Scott Key and our national anthem.

This was a great experience for me because I felt like these two girls, likely for the first time in their lives, actually stopped just for a second to appreciate what they had and where it came from.

On the fourth, I did what a lot you probably did.  I attended a backyard barbecue and planned for some heavy eating and great conversation.   Unfortunately, we got a lot of rain so the time outside was pretty limited. Worse yet, no kickass wiffleball matches were to be had.  More unfortunate was that I kept running into conversations that were filled with hate and idiocy.  I should explain that I only knew a fraction of those in attendance and those that I did were likely relatives of my amazingly bright and beautiful girlfriend, Tammy.  Ever since we’ve met, I have struggled with keeping my extremely opionated political voice on the down low near her certain members of her family.  Many of them are old school Democrats.  Between you and me, I don’t think they even know what it means to be a Democrat, at least in 2007.  From my limited perspective, it seems to mean that bashing Bush is the only significant requirement.

Where am I going with all of this?  I guess my point is that the world is full of people who vote for Democrats but aren’t even remotely aligned with that political philosophy.  The first conversation I sat through at the barbeque was of a group of five or six folks trashing President Bush on the Scooter Libby issue.  They proudly confirmed each other’s Democrat status and laughed about how they didn’t vote for Bush so he’s not THEIR President.  One spoke at length about how Libby got a slap on the wrist and that it was a sham that Mr. War for Oil can smack lady justice around at will.  Imagine me in the corner fiddling with my blackberry reading the list of their hero, William Jefferson Clinton’s list of pardons.  Do any of these people know about this?  Take five minutes and go read this. Do they care?  Where does this hate come from?  I can’t figure it out.  These same people also talked briefly about how upset they were about tax increases.  One was apparently an avid hunter and owned several guns.  To me, they seemed like regular people that would want to preserve our American culture that is under relentless attack from the left.  Yet, they were here attacking one of the few men who is in a position to slow our tranformation into Teddy Kennedy’s America.

Those of you who know me, know that I ended my previous position as Bush’s defender when he inferred that I was a bigot because I want my border secured.  However, the man is my President and he is THEIR President too whether they like it or not and we are AT WAR people.  While Bill Clinton, a man I despise, a man with no morals, a known liar and thief, was our President, I honored his office and his position as Commander in Chief.

Later that day, one of Tammy’s relatives brought out a copy of Michael Moore’s recent movie, Sicko, which from the title, I originally thought would be autobiographical.  It turns out, however, that it refers to the feeling in my stomach when someone wants to play his movie on INDEPENDENCE DAY of all days.  Michael Moore is most famous for Fahrenheit 911, a film where he distorts the truth, edits others opinions in print and on video and flat out lies to make the greatest country on Earth, ours, look like a tyrannical despotic force from the darkside bent on killing babies and stealing oil from beautiful foreign lands where kids play with kites all day.  In my opinion, he is an enemy of our state, a lying propaganda artist and he should be tried for treason.  Anyway, I saw that and made a beeline for the door.   If you want to know about Mr. Moore’s lies, get a copy of Fahrenhype 911 and or visit www.moorewatch.com and www.mooreexposed.com.

All of this is so sad really.  I know not everyone is a conservative.  Some people are genuinely liberals.  Of course, they are misguided and ill-informed but I know from experience that even if they were informed, there would still be some liberals.  However, I dare say that very very few people align themselves with liberal Democrats based on political philosophy.  Many, it seems, are Democrats because their parents are or were, or possibly they were spoonfed liberalism in college, or even more likely, they are constantly bombarded by the newsmedia with liberal lies and distortions.

The question is what to do about all of this.  The biggest problem is that people take their own politics so seriously.  Even people who haven’t got a clue about politics still become unhinged when their understanding of political issues is in question.  I’m thinking that the answer would be a way for people to discover the truth on their own.  I’ve got an idea for a simple quiz that I’m going to work on that might do just that.  Stay tuned.
