My obligatory Stop the Bailout and Cuff Dodd post.

The entire newsmedia and more just recently, the FBI, are supposedly investigating the current credit crisis to find out what went wrong and just who is responsible.  It seems pretty clear to me.

I have a question.  How come Christopher Dodd is not in handcuffs?

I have done a bit of research on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and find that this is the number one source of all the bailout drama that has thus far occurred and has no end in sight.  How did this happen?  Read a few of the articles below and it becomes quite clear..

During the 90’s, the Clinton administration and congressional Democrats leaned all over the financial markets to delve into risky subprime markets and when then balked, the same people, most notably Barney Franks and Dodd himself, pushed Fannie & Freddie to buy these loans, thereby facilitating the greedy money people on Wall Street.  This is not to mention the many many Clinton cronies that got rich along the way.  

I know I know.  This all sounds familar.  Democrat politicians legislating environments that lead to bad behavior that is detrimental to the country, ie welfare, marriage penalty et al.

Dodd claims he “didn’t know” he was getting a break.. The guy is on the damn Senate Banking Commission!

Clearly Senator Dodd is GUILTY GUILTY GUILTY….  and so are all you Democrats who have repeatedly voted for this slime.

I say we stop the bailout altogether especially since now the latest version of Congressional Democrat slime wants to add everything from your neighbors foreclosure to some fool’s unpaid car note to the bill.

Speaking truth to morons.

It’s a common battlechant of the leftists in this country to “speak truth to power”.  The problem with most of these people is they don’t have the brainpower to distinguish what really is true from what comes from their mouths.

The goal for this blog post is to gather some of the recent media issues in the current Presidential campaign and point out the truth.  Let’s see how I do.

2) Are the fundamentals of the American economy strong?  By now, I’m sure you have heard Obama slamming McCain for saying that the backbone of the American economy is in tact and we will get through this current credit crisis.  According to Obama, the sky is falling, McCain is a liar, and only he can save us.  Well, what’s the truth, is the economy screwed or not?   Here is a great article from Larry Elder over at townhall.  The great thing about Larry is he backs up his arguments with FACTS.  Now, that’s something you don’t see every day.

7) I think I will finish up with the dirt the left has been throwing at Sarah Palin.  First, did she say the Iraq War was “God’s will”? No.  Did she try and outlaw teaching evolution in school or push creation science as Governor? No.  Did she want to ban books in Alaska’s public library and fire a librarian for not cooperating? No.  Was she a member of Alaska’s Indepedent party which at one time advocated separating from the Union? Um, No.  Is Trig really her daughter’s child? This is just a taste.  The moral is to investigate before believeing what you read or see on TV.  The truth CAN be found, it’s just that sometimes you have to go look for it on your own.

I had no doubt she would exceed all expectations.   I am thrilled to see our Republican Party acting like real Republicans for a change, talking about American optimism, smaller government, lower taxes, facts and not hype!  True conservatism is still alive and well in Sarah Palin and I am thrilled beyond words to see it.  I have news for you lefties.  Sarah’s politics are MY politics and THE politics of America.   If you don’t think so, make no mistake, your patriotism should be questioned!
