I work with black people on a nearly daily basis.  I sure as hell hope they don’t think or act like this asshole.   

This man is indeed a racist and that’s a word I don’t throw around.  Incidentally, I remember when I was a teenager, no one was a racist.  The word was “prejudiced”.  How did we go from “prejudiced” to “racist” anyway?  Either way, I now recognize that there is indeed such a thing and his name is Rev. Jeremiah Wright. 

Some questions for Reverend Wright:

Haven’t you seen the plight of African Americans improve in your lifetime?  Haven’t you noticed that a black man is receiving immense support in his candidacy for the Presidency of this great nation?  Don’t you see all those white people out cheering, campaigning and voting for Obama?  Shall we continue to play the race card forever?  It seems to me you have achieved tremendous wealth and success despite being a black man.  Not only that, you did it through your freedoms of speech and religion.  Hell, you are now experiencing your fifteen minutes of fame.    How is all this possible in a horrible nation like this?  I want to know.

You think my country, which I love, is a terrorist nation because we removed an evil dictator from power and we are helping a truly oppressed population experience liberty firsthand.  You think God will condemn America for the evil its spreads.  Don’t you recognize that this country was created in the image of God?  It was founded on the principal that God grants us our freedom.  It does not come from governments.  This country sacrificed approximately 600,000 men when it cleansed itself of the stain of slavery.    From there, it has consistently moved toward our current state where men of all races are treated as equals.  If racism still exists in America, I argue it exists more in the Black Liberation Theology garbage that you preach than any white household I have ever witnessed.  You should be ashamed.  You have obviously used your hate to deepen whatever wounds still exist in our culture and you have used the power of your position to line your own pockets.   It is people like you and Farakhan who continue to spread hate and the pain that comes from it.  It is obvious to any Christian that your smug character, your hate-filled speeches and your willingness to lie from the pulpit in the house of God for personal glory that it’s your own narcissism and pride that guides you.  If I was a better Christian, I would pray for your soul.

As far as Obama goes, I don’t believe him and I don’t trust him.  He knows who this man is.  He always has.   Clearly, it’s not a well kept secret.
