October Update!

Greetings people!  I’m feeling a little off today but I haven’t posted much lately and want to hit on a few subjects.   First,  CLICK HERE for a link to a short compilation video of John Stossel’s report on “GW”.. No, No, not Bush.. “Global Warming”.  You need to share this with everyone you know especially if they have kids in school.  I think its disgusting they way kids are being brainwashed to think that they will die unless they listen to Al Gore.  Hard to grasp, I know.

This leads me to my next topic, “R.P.” by which I mean of course, Ross Perot.   Does anyone out there really think its a coincidence that Ron Paul shares his initials with Mr. Perot?   I spent all night last night laying in bed trying to come up with the true meaning of R.P.  – Republican Plant? 

Taken at face value, I have the following issues with Mr. Paul.

Let’s just say that I and many of my fellow conservatives generally love 90% of what he says about small govt., federalism, etc.  Its the other 10% where he loses us, talking about isolationist foreign policy and getting out of Iraq.  Also, he constantly repeats a diatribe about getting rid of all these govt. agencies which sounds great except I have heard him include the CIA and then in the next breath, he says that we could avoid war including the War on Terror with proper intelligence… hunh Ron?  but you just got rid of our intelligence gathering. 

Another big issue with him is his tendency to align himself with the 9-11 truthers who think GW blew up the WTC himself..  Failure to correct those whackjobs when they are so outspoken in his favor to me is unconscionable.

More important than all of that is that Ron Paul is this election cycle’s Ross Perot.  Lets not let this happen again.

While I’m at it, I need to take a shot at Mike Huckabee.  I had a friend of mine start telling me how wonderful good ole Huck is and that we should throw our support his way and try and help the movement..  Sheesh, gung ho eh?  Then I shared with him the following 3 weblinks,

Basically, you come away recognizing him for the Nanny-state lib that he has lurking beneath his Republican exterior. 

We don’t have a perfect candidate that is a true 100% conservative unfortunately.  Newt would have been my choice but seeing how he is out.. Fred is the closest thing we’ve got.. I encourage you R.P. supporters to really consider some of the ramifications of Paul’s simplistic rhetoric and recognize that he is in large part just a crackpot and that the last R.P. got us Slick Willie.  That in itself, should snap you back to reality. 

Unless somthing big happens, Thompson is the go to guy for now.

What Lot’s wife must have seen…

Lately when I finally find the time to sit down and write a new blog post, I seem to always want to start it with “the world is going to hell because…”  I’m not sure if thats a sign or what.  Anyway, why should today be any different?  Don’t get me wrong.  Personally, I’m happy.  Mostly, that is because I learned a long time ago that you alone choose your mood.  Of course, people will do things intended to upset you but its still your choice to be upset.  You could instead choose to laugh at the prospects of their future in Hell.    Unfortunately, as I said it looks like the rest of the world is going there too.  Follow along for a few examples.

This past weekend, the Folsom Street Fair was held in San Francisco.  I’m putting the links right up front here because I want you lazy people who only read the first paragraph and a half of my blog posts to see them.  Click Here to see fellow blogger Zombie’s photo documentary of the event.  -CONTENT WARNING-  I hope he got all his shots before attending.  Kill me if I catch anything remotely like that.   If you thought we were slouching towards Gomorrah, maybe you should rethink that.  From here, it looks like we are hurtling towards it.  Michelle Malkin brings us more on Folsom including how Miller Beer helped support the event and photos of CHILDREN, yes CHILDREN actually in ATTENDANCE at this sideshow of sick and twisted behavior.   This is just another example of what our constant TOLERANCE has bought us.  Political Correctness will kill us all before its over.

Turning the page, apparently some Filipino officials are upset because somebody made a crack about Filipino Med schools on Desperate Housewives.  Heaven Forbid. (Can I still say Heaven?) Click Here for the clip.   Personally, I think its funny.  I wonder how they like that.  In fact, I think the fact that they are whining about it is even more hilarious.  Get a life.  Why is everyone such a damn cry baby today?  Didn’t mom tell them its sticks and stones not words that hurt? 

Speaking of words that hurt, Rush has already made it clear that when he said “phony soldiers” he was referring to guess what, “phony soldiers”, specifically a guy named Jesse Macbeth and others like him.  These are ultra anti-war guys who are out there claiming to have been American military who aren’t.  They wrap themselves in a uniform or a flag and go on youtube and similar outlets and spout lies about how we are terrorizing villages and raping women and so on.  It kind of sounds like the same filth that spewed from John Kerry during Vietnam doesn’t it?  Anyway, attacking Rush for calling “phony soldiers” “phony soldiers” is typical of the left.  Anyone who has ever listened to Mr. Limbaugh for even one episode would recognize that any claim that he is anti-US Military is ludicrous squared.  And its not just a bunch of leftist pundits in on the action, its members of congress too.  The Senate Majority Leader, Harry Reid and 40 other Democrats all signed a letter to Clear Channel Radio, who puts on Rush’s radio show, condemning his comments and mischaracterizing what he said in such a blatant way only fools and apparently most Democrats wouldn’t see through.  Rush will have the last laugh.  His show is played on military radio and my guess is he has an extremely large fan base among our fine military men and women and they will more than make up for the lies and distortions coming from the highest levels of our government.  These people (Reid et al) are disgusting liars and have no place in my world let alone running my America. 

While I’m on it, Rush didn’t say it but I will.  If you are in the US Military and you are speaking out against the war, you sir (or ma’am) are a PHONY SOLDIER.  Pound sand.
